Semi Coke (SC)

Cost-Effective Carbon Source with High Thermal & Electrical Properties

Semi Coke (SC) is produced through low-temperature pyrolysis (500–750°C) of select low-rank coals, yielding a versatile carbon material with ≥84% fixed carbon, low sulfur (≤0.4%), and excellent thermal and electrical properties. As a cost-effective alternative to metallurgical coke and higher-grade carbon additives, Semi Coke is widely used in ferroalloy production, calcium carbide manufacturing, and industrial heating applications. Its clean burning characteristics (no smoke emission), high specific resistance, and stable performance make it ideal for budget-conscious operations without compromising quality.
